Tried and tested: Stencil

Stencil is a web based graphic design tool for business owners who are not graphic designer professionals, with access to thousands of royalty free icons and images for you to use.

Stencil

Are you a creative type, but don’t have the time to learn the serious graphic design tools? Do you want to create eye catching graphics for your business communications on email or social media but don’t have the budget to hire a pro each time? Then take a look at stencil.

Why I like it

  • I started by using Canva and I really liked the ease of how I could create and edit high quality images through it’s royalty free library and publish straight to social media.

  • Stencil is basically the same but more affordable and more user friendly. And the support is great too!

  • I use stencil for mock ups of logos, for social media posts, for posters, for any visual imagery really. It’s 100% web based, there is no software to download and install and it’s just an all round easy way to get high quality images, quickly (branded or otherwise).

  • If you want a simple tool that you can leave in the cloud, store your visual assets and logos and access from any web browser, then stencil is the one for you.
